Hi, I’m Lisa

As a Workplace Wellbeing Strategist and multi-award-winning Psychotherapist, I support organisations, leaders and individuals -particularly high-achieving women - to navigate workplace pressure, career transition and emotional load with greater resilience, confidence and healthier communication.

Drawing on more than twenty-seven years in health and wellbeing, I help uncover the emotional patterns that quietly influence performance, leadership, relationships and wellbeing. Whether you're experiencing self-doubt, anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, relationship challenges or feeling stuck despite your success, my approach goes beyond surface-level solutions to address what is really driving the challenge. The result is lasting change that strengthens confidence, emotional wellbeing, communication and relationships - both professionally and personally.

My work combines psychological expertise, mentoring, consultancy and strategic wellbeing support to help people move beyond simply coping. I work internationally online with individuals, leaders and organisations, alongside my bespoke REMOVE THE MASK™ Coastal Escapes, creating dedicated time and space for meaningful and lasting transformation.

This work is deeply personal to me.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I built a successful career in diplomacy and the corporate world. From the outside, life looked successful. Behind the scenes, I was quietly battling self-doubt, imposter syndrome and the pressure to keep proving myself. Like so many of the people I now support, I became highly skilled at wearing a mask of capability while unresolved emotional wounds continued to shape how I felt, communicated and responded to pressure.

Understanding and healing those patterns transformed not only my own life, but the way I help others today.

It is why I believe lasting change doesn't come from simply learning to cope better. It comes from understanding what sits beneath the surface - the beliefs, experiences and emotional patterns that quietly influence how we lead, communicate, build relationships and experience life.

That philosophy sits at the heart of everything I do, whether I'm supporting an individual, partnering with an organisation or facilitating a REMOVE THE MASK™ Coastal Escape.

If you'd like to explore my approach in more depth, I invite you to read Beyond the Therapy Room, where I share the philosophy behind my work and the different ways I support individuals, leaders and organisations through workplace pressure, career transition, emotional wellbeing, healthier relationships and meaningful change.

And if you're wondering whether my support is right for you or your organisation, the first step is simply a confidential connection call. There is no pressure to commit - just an opportunity to explore what you're experiencing, ask questions and work out together whether I'm the right person to help. If I'm not, I'll tell you.

My Story

To know me now, you would think that I had always been super-confident and calm within myself - but the truth is, I wasn’t always this way.

As an anxious teen, I was a victim of abuse at home and bullied at school. I was crushed to the point that I even suffered nervous convulsions. I self-harmed, was underweight. I struggled with a stammer, and had digestive and skin troubles too.

Married, following childbirth, I suffered an emotional breakdown in my early twenties. Finally, I got the professional help I needed to clear the taunting of my past emotional trauma. At that time, I gave myself permission to understand and accept myself truly for the first time in my life. I broke free from the anxiety that had kept me down in a place in the world that wasn’t meant for me.

Fast forward twenty-seven years, and I have been honoured to help so many others find the resources within themselves to grow into a place of self-acceptance and self-confidence too. I offer help to my clients in a way that it would have benefitted me to receive it, and which reaches far beyond what is generally available.

As a woman in my own personal life, with two children now grown and flown, I have always strived to give to my children the love and acceptance I never felt. Married for 25-years, I divorced eight years ago. I feel confident and empowered in my life and these days I am settled living by the sea. It has taken me years to feel truly safe emotionally and physically, yet independent and living authentically every day as my true self. It hasn’t been an easy journey, but I have learned so much along the way.

For you, it doesn’t have to be so hard. I can support you to create for yourself the right mindset, and to set the right boundaries. I can help you to find your way quickly to loving yourself and creating a life that works for you on so many levels, so that you too can feel free, happy, relaxed and secure in your life, as I do today.
